Kick off the summer right with the Chicago Ale Fest. This will be happening at Butler Field in Grant Park on June 1 and 2, 2018. The park is bordered by the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan and is the perfect spot for this Fest.
There will be over 200 craft beers to taste. The “Impossible To Get Tent” has craft beers from five sought after breweries that aren’t available in Chicago. Lager Lane features light-bodied refreshing craft lagers. Cider Alley features craft ciders from Chicago and out of state. West vs. East Tent has a throw down competition between East and West coast style IPAs. Participating breweries include 2 Fools Cider, Rabbit Cerveceria, Anchor Brewing, Around The Bend, Banging Gavel Brews, Bold Dog Beer Co., Burnt City Brewing, Illuminated Brew World and many more.
Ten of Chicago’s favorite food trucks will be there. Enjoy live music from Dave Matthews Band tribute Trippin’ Billies on Friday. 80s cover band The Breakfast Club will be performing on Saturday.
