Butcher’s Family Fun Farm & Corn Maze is a great place to visit if you are looking for family-friendly fall fun. They have lots of fun fall activities, like a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and wagon ride. They are conveniently located on 1375 Turkey Bird Road in Newport, Pennsylvania, so it’s convenient for families in nearby Harrisburg and Hershey. So let’s talk more about the event. One of the biggest highlights of this event would have to be the four-acre corn maze. People love navigating the twisting turns of this maze. Along the way, you find clues, solve educational puzzles, and complete picture rubbings. You even get to talk to the resident minotaur.
But the corn maze isn’t the only thing happening this fall at Butcher’s Family Fun Farm. There is an onsite pumpkin patch. You can pick out a pumpkin for a jack-o-lantern for Halloween. Or you can use your pumpkin to make delicious foods like pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread.
There’s a straw castle or, rather, a Straw Kingdom. You can climb, crawl, and jump around this structure. There are hayrides so you can see the beautiful farm while relaxing on a wagon. There’s a corn box, Mega Ride-N-Slide, and Super Slide. There’s also a barrel train ride, pedal karts, and pedal tractors.
If all this fun makes you hungry, don’t worry! You can go to the on-site snack shop! They sell all kinds of delicious foods like burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, cookies, and soft pretzels.
This event takes place on Saturdays and Sundays this fall. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It runs through November 2, 2024.
This is definitely an event you will want to visit with your family or friends. Kids and adults can have a lot of fun here.
