Have you ever wanted to go to Jamaica? Well, you can get an authentic slice of Jamaica right here in the state of New York. The Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival is coming to Roy Wilkes Park in Jamaica, New York on July 31, 2022.
You’ll enter the park and hear the sounds of reggae. Then the wafting aromas of jerk pork, chicken and fish will hit you. Close your eyes and you could be on that beautiful Caribbean island!
This festival is a celebration of Jamaica and its delectable cuisine. The festival will bring together celebrity chefs, home cooks and food vendors. There will be demonstrations of how to make traditional Jamaican dishes.
Celebrity Chefs at Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival
Celebrity chefs at the festival will include
Chef Ron Duprat
Chef Ron Duprat was one of the top competitors on Bravo TV’s Top Chef, Iron Chef America, Bar Rescue and Beat Bobby Flay on the Food Network. He is the author of “My Journey of Cooking.”
Chef Andre Fowles
Chef Andre Fowles is a Jamaican born chef and a three time Food Network “Chopped” champion. His hot sauce line “Mama Cherry” pays tribute to his Jamaican grandmother who inspired him to become a chef.
Chef Darian is a Jamaican chef who has been featured on Food Network, CBS News, ESPN, The Jamaican Observer, The Gleaner, TVJ and more. Darian loves to merge his Caribbean cuisine with fine dining dishes, earning him the nickname “The Fancy Jerk.”
Chef Troy Levy
Chef Troy Levy grew up in the countryside of St. Catherine in Jamaica. After years of cooking different cuisines, he has returned to his Rastafari roots and is now introducing Ital cooking in a modern style. Ital cooking is Jamaican cooking without using meat, salt, oil and additives.
Chef Eddie G
Chef Eddie G is the author of “Cooking Coast2Coast Cuisine” and the soon to be published “Locavore.” You can see Chef Eddie G on Season 9 of the Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race and Season 1 of Chef Eddie G Locavore on Amazon Prime.
Chef Hugh Sinclair
Chef Hugh Sinclair has a critically acclaimed TV cooking mini-series “Taste the Islands With Chef Irie” for PBS. “Taste the Islands” is the only original Caribbean produced TV series featuring a Caribbean chef on a TV network.
Chef Max Hardy
Chef Max Hardy has been featured in Bon Appetit, Essence Magazine, Fox 5 Good Day New York and the New York Post. He was also a runner up on Food Network’s Chopped.
Chef Natache Gomez
Chef Natache Gomez’s cuisine ranges from Taino to The New Caribbean Gastronomy which revisits traditional dishes with a modern twist. Her cookbook Bak Fritay” highlights Haitian street food.
Cooking competition and celebrity chefs cook offs making this an immersive experience.

The festival celebrates the rich Jamaican cultural heritage with traditional folk performances, comedy and fashion. This is hosted by “Kulture Keeper” Sharon Gordon. You’ll see performances by

The Main Stage will feature performers with a combination of dancehall, roots rock reggae and old school. Enjoy the cool Jerk Festival vibe with performers, including
