Look out Harrisburg! A herd of dinosaurs is about to invade your city! PA Farm Show Complex & Expo Center will be transformed into a prehistoric park.
Jurassic Quest will be in Harrisburg on August 11, 12 and 13, 2023. Be prepared to be thrilled and delighted.
This is a self guided immersive event. You can go through the dinosaur experience at your own pace. Be as fast or as slow as you want.
Jurassic Quest will identify each dinosaur by name and by period. The identifying card will tell you where the dinosaur lived and when they lived.
There will be videos playing by some of the dinosaurs in which “dinosaur trainers” will be telling you more about the dinosaurs. Jurassic Quest is educational as well as being a lot of fun.
Each dinosaur was painstakingly reproduced in every detail in collaboration with leading paleontologists.
The dinosaurs have a metal frame over which layers of foam have been placed. There are motors inside each dinosaur that make them move. The dinosaurs can turn their heads and swing their tails. Some of them can walk. And they can roar.
These dinosaurs come in all sizes from the chicken sized Microraptor to Tyrannosaurus Rex. Some dinosaurs have scales while others have fur or feathers. You’ll see the enormous Spinosaurus which was the largest predatory dinosaur to ever walk the earth.
Kids can ride on the dinosaurs’ backs with stationary dinosaur rides and walking dinosaur rides. “Tricera-tots” is a soft play space for the little ones. There will be dinosaur bounce houses and inflatables.
Entry to Jurassic Quest is allowed until one hour before the event closes. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 2 get free admission.
