Reggae Fest Massive is coming to Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, August 21, 2024, at 7 pm.  

Performers

The Fest has assembled an amazing lineup of mega talented music artists.  The performers include

Movado

Movado is a Jamaican dancehall singer.  In 2004, his debut single, “Real McKoy,” made him an overnight sensation in the Jamaican dancehall world.  That hit was followed by “Weh Dem a Do” and “Dreamin’.”  He’s known for his sweetly melodic voice.

Adonia

Adonia is a dancehall and reggae artist from Kingston, Jamaica.  He began as a DJ before starting to record singles.  His hits include “Banga,” “IG Girls,” “Tan Tuddy,” “Nuh Boring Gyal,” “Pon D Cocky,” “Jook So” and “Tip Pon D Toe.”

Elephant Man

O’Neil Bryan is a Jamaican dancehall musician who goes by the stage name Elephant Man.  He has large ears which earned him the nickname of Dumbo as a child.  He was a member of the dancehall group, Scare Dem Crew, before going solo.  He balances traditional dancehall with modern hip hop.  Hits include “Log In” and “Di Best.”

Dexta Daps

Louis Grandison, aka Dexta Daps, is a reggae singer.  His 2014 debut single “Morning Love” was a hit on local radio.  His “7 Eleven” and “Jealous Ova” became Jamaican dance club favorites.  “Shabba Madda Pot” has had over 13 million views on YouTube.     

Mr. Vegas

Clifford Smith is a dancehall singer and DJ and he goes by the name of Mr Vegas.  In 1996, he had hit singles with “Yu Sure,” “Jack It Up” and “Latest News.”  These were followed by hits, “Nike Air” and “Heads High.”  Mr. Vegas retired from the music industry for a few years but is back in business now.  His latest release is “Wobble Ma Head” with Akade and PABLO. 

Vanessa Bling

Vanessa Bling is a Jamaican singer and songwriter.  She performed as a back up singer for Twins of Twins.  Under the stage name Gaza Slim, she had hits with “Mama Said,” “Stop Gwan Like Yuh Tough,” “Can’t Do Without Me” and “Realest Girl.”  More recent hits include “Better Now” and “Just Party.”  Her music blends pop sounds with dancehall and reggae.
