The Lunar New Year, also known as the Chinese New Year or Spring Festival, will begin on January 22, 2023, this year. New Year celebrations will continue for 15 days.
2023 is the Year of the Water Rabbit. The Rabbit is a symbol of prosperity, longevity and peace in Chinese culture. It is believed that the animal ruling your birth year influences your personality and ultimately your destiny. People born in the Year of the Rabbit are believed to be courteous, witty, quick thinking and ingenious.
Celebrate Lunar New Year with the New Jersey Devils on January 22, 2023. The Lunar New Year will be celebrated in their Sunday Matinee Game at 2 pm in the Prudential Center, aka “The Rock,” in Newark, New Jersey.
There will be festivities before the game and during the intermissions. Enjoy Lunar New Year decorations and seeing special performances. There will also be giveaways and prizes.
