Experience the thrill and beauty on one of the wonders of the world on a Niagara Falls Tour. You’ll get sweeping views of the Falls from all key viewing areas.

Niagara Falls is actually 3 waterfalls. The largest, Horseshoe Falls, is in Canada. American Falls and the smaller Bridal Veil Falls are on the United States side of the border. Luna Island separates the American Falls from Bridal Veil Falls. Goat Island separates American Falls from Horseshoe Falls.

You will hear Niagara Falls before you see it. More than 750,000 gallons of water – over 3,100 tons – come over the falls every second. The water produces a rhythmic roar that you hear and also feel. Sometimes you’ll see a mist that looks like a cloud on the ground. At other times, there are pulsing bursts of steam.

The Falls were formed about 12,000 years ago at the end of the last Ice Age. They are located in Niagara Falls State Park, established in 1885, making it the oldest state park in the U.S. You’ll be in the State Park on your tour.

Tour Itinerary

The tour is on the U.S. side, so no passports will be needed for American citizens. Your tour includes hotel pick up and drop off and skip the line admission to two top attractions.

You’ll take an elevator down into the Niagara Gorge and The Cave of the Winds. This is an old natural cave that enables you to get close to the base of the falls. You’ll go on a wooden walkway that runs along the Niagara River to an observation deck.

There is an old saying that in Canada you can see the Falls but in New York you can feel the Falls. This observation deck will have you just a few feet from Bridal Veil Falls and its powerful rush of water. It’s like being in a tropical storm. You’ll feel the rush from the enormous amount of water falling. Words cannot do it justice – you must feel it for yourself.

Then it’s back up in the elevator and you’ll go to Prospect Point Observation Tower in Niagara Falls State Park. This is the only place to get a panoramic view of all 3 waterfalls. Gaze in awe at the cascade of falling water and the waters raging below you.

The Maid of the Mist has been giving people an up close look at the Falls since 1846. Step aboard and you’ll be taken to the very edge of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. This is the most powerful waterfall in North America and you’ll be so close to the majesty of this natural wonder. I’ve been on the Maid of the Mist and I can guarantee that this is one ride you’ll never forget!

Aaron Burr’s daughter Theodosia and Napoleon’s younger brother were the first celebrities to go to Niagara Falls on their honeymoons. You professional guide can tell you about this and a multitude of fun facts about the Falls. Listen to tales of daredevils who tried to conquer the Falls.

Be sure to bring a camera so you can capture incredible photos of the Falls to share with friends and family on social media.
