December is a great month in Pittsburgh.  The weather really makes you feel like Christmas is near.  There are beautiful holiday decorations throughout the city.  And the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Steelers are both playing!

There is one night in particular in December when you can get excited for Christmas and enjoy the Pittsburgh Penguins.  And that night is the Penguins’ Ugly Holiday Sweater Night!

Ugly Sweater Night takes place at PPG Paints Arena on Thursday, December 22th at 7:00 PM.  This is when the Pittsburgh Penguins play the Carolina Hurricanes in a great NHL matchup.  This is a great way for you to get into the mood for Christmas just a few days away from the big day.  It is a great place to spend time with family, too.
