Mardi Gras is the last day before the beginning of Lent, making it the perfect time to indulge in all your favorite foods. Also called Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras historically was a night of society balls in which rich foods were served. Over time, the celebrations turned from balls into carnivals with parades and people wearing masks.

Mardi Gras Southwest Texas 2023 will be a celebration on February 16, 17, 18 and 19, 2023, in Beaumont. There will be four days of parades, entertainment, a carnival, eating and drinking. “Carnival nights and Midway lights”

The Aurora Grand Ball will be held before Mardi Gras on February 11, 2023. At the Beaumont Civic Center.

What would Mardi Gras be without parades? That’s just unthinkable. No worries in Beaumont, they’ll be seeing six parades. On Friday, there will be a Golf Cart and ATV Parade and the Valero Krewe of Krewes. On Saturday, you can see the Motorcycle Showcase and the TotalEnergies Aurora Grand. Sunday’s parades will be the Exxon Motor Parade and the NVC Mardi Paws Pet Parade.
