This is what you can experience when you visit Calloway Gardens this springtime at their Flowerfest!
Calloway Gardens’ Spring Flower Fest started back in March and will run through April 31, 2023. It is a wonderful time to see amazing flowers. The festival features one of the world’s largest azalea displays. You’ll also get to walk through a brand-new field of more than 100,000 tulips.
It’s not just flowers featured at this festival, too. There are also over fifty topiaries throughout Calloway Gardens. These topiaries are created to resemble creatures like turtles, frogs, owls, and butterflies. It makes for a really wonderful site.
There are a lot of great ways to see these flowers and topiaries, too. You can hike or bike throughout Calloway Gardens. You can even zipline and get a great aerial view!
But there’s also a trolley you can get on if you want a bit less adventurous way to get to different parts of the Gardens. There are pickup locations at the Butterfly Center, Cason’s Garden, Overlook Azalea Garden, Discover Center, and Brothers Azalea Bowl.
If you get hungry or thirsty during your time at Callaway Gardens, don’t worry. There will be food trucks on hand. And adults can head to Carson’s Beer & Wine Garden. Here you can enjoy tastings from local wineries.
But there are things for kids to do here, too. Children can enjoy kid-friendly games throughout Callaway Gardens.
And guests of all ages can enjoy live music over at Carson’s Garden.
Callaway Gardens is located near Pine Mountain, Georgia in Harris County. It is convenient to those in the Columbus and Atlanta areas of Georgia and Auburn and Opelika areas of Alabama. It was ranked the Best Georgia Attraction in 2018 by USA Today.
