Hispanic Heritage celebrations began in 1968, although it was only a week then. Today it is a month long celebration, running from September 15 to October 15, 2022. It is meant to honor the Hispanic Heritage and all Hispanic Americans who have helped build America. It is also meant to shine a light on how far we have to go and to focus on diversity and inclusion.
Charlotte Football Club is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a Block Party. Enjoy a night of music, food and soccer!
This will be happening on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 6:30 pm to 9 pm at 8600 McAlpine Park Drive in Charlotte. This is the club’s future site of their new training facility and headquarters.
At the party, you can enjoy music by DJ Juasca. SIR MINTY will be making an appearance. Local Latin owned and operated food trucks will be there with delicious food available for purchase. There will be a 21+ Beer Tent.
Enjoy fun in the sun at this outdoor event. There will be a Family Friendly Activity Zone with plenty of fun things to do. Get instagramable worthy photos at the CLTFC Photobooth. Enjoy live entertainment from Ballet Folklorico Mexican Tradition of Julie Ruiz.
This is a Free admission, all ages event.
Fan Apprecation Match
Charlotte Football Club’s next match is against the Philadelphia Union on October 1, 2022, at Bank of America Stadium. This will be Fan Appreciation Match presented by Ally. The upper bowl will be open and they hope to pack the house. There will be a pre-match party on Mint Street. Fans will receive a Charlotte FC T-shirt. You only get the T-shirt if you purchase the event package. You can do that here
