Historic Pennsylvania Avenue will become a food lover’s paradise. This will happen on June 27 and 28, 2026, from 11 am to 7 pm when the 32nd Annual Giant BBQ Battle returns to Washington, D.C. Let the games begin!
This event first began as a friendly barbecue battle in a parking lot and has evolved into one of America’s premiere food and music festivals. It attracts foodies and families who eagerly return year after year.
As you approach the festival, the wafting aroma of barbecue will hit you. And you’ll hear the sounds of live music across three entertainment stages. And you’ll know you’re where you want to be!
