Knowing the land’s proximity to historic battles, before breaking ground, the owners teamed up with Civil War excavators to salvage hundreds of bullets, buttons, breastplates and other artifacts that had laid dormant beneath the ground since the 1860s.
While sipping on wine in the tasting room, you’ll see display cases of artifacts. You’ll hear stories of the land’s historic past.
