July 14th is the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille and the beginning of the French Revolution. Bastille Day is celebrated throughout France and in many other places around the world, including Washington, D.C.
Get your friends and to the French Embassy to celebrate Bastille Day and all things French. It will be happening on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 6:30 pm to 11 pm. This will be one gala event that you’ll never forget.
You’ll enter with a red carpet walk with an event backdrop Photo. Get some Instagram worthy photos. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres with a glass of Cremant d’Alsace.
There will be live entertainment by Hot Club of Baltimore featuring Alexis Tantau, vocalist. After dinner, DJ David Dupre will take over and get you on your feet dancing. He is a French DJ from Paris and is now hosting the “One For You” show on Eaton Radio.
You can enjoy an elegant multi-course seated dinner with wine pairings.

Additional Event Information
There will be some great prizes in the raffles. You can purchase raffle tickets in advance and pick them up at the Embassy to save time.
Participate in the online auction. There will also be a silent auction with more than 80 exclusive items only available on site. Bid on creations from exceptional artisans and designers, spa health and beauty experiences, world class dining and more. Each guest will receive a gift bag.
Festive cocktail attire is requested, especially in red, white and gold which are the colors of Alsace.
You need to be 21 years of age with a valid government issued ID matching the name on the guest list.
The Comite Tricolore has the Bastille Day Gala Event as its annual fundraiser. All proceeds from the event will go to help the most in need in the local community.
