Come and party the Caribbean way! Immerse yourself in the culture of the Caribbean at the Caribbean Food & Rum Festival. It will be coming to the Hollywood ArtsPark in Hollywood, Florida on December 12, 2021.

Enjoy a day of Caribbean-inspired revelry as you celebrate the spirits, cuisines, rhythms and the rich cultural traditions in the Caribbean countries. There will be a Welcome Parade. You can visit the Health & Wellness Pavilion.

Renowned Caribbean chefs will be giving demonstrations. There will be limited food and drink sampling. Caribbean mixologists will also give demonstrations. There will be a cook off.

There will be vendor booths that will make for a great shopping experience. Enjoy creative art exhibits and arts and crafts. Kidsville will have games and activities for children.

Entertainment

There will be live entertainment throughout the Festival. Performers will include

Third World

These Jamaican “reggae ambassadors” received the United Nations Peace Medal for to their efforts to spread messages of peace and love. Their hits include “Now That We Found Love” and “Try Jah Love.” They are on of the longest lasting Reggae bands of all time.

Barrington Levy

His popularity spread from Jamaica to the U.S. and the U.K. in the 1980s. He won the Best Vocalist Award at Great Britain’s Reggae Awards. His latest single is “Love The Way She Love Me.” He’s done a collaboration with Shaggy with “Only You” and Snoop Dogg with ”Watch Dem (Murderer).”

Patrice Roberts

She is a Trinidadian Soca (popular dance music of the Southern Caribbean) singer and has collaborated with Bunji Garlin and most recently with Kes with “Like It Like That.”

Alison Hinds

She is a Bajan Soca artist based in Barbados. Her nickname is the “Queen of Soca.” Her hits include “Faluma” and “Roll It Gal.”

Peter Ram

He is known for great Calypso music with catchy lyrics and beats and pyrotechnic displays on stage. His hits include “The Pledge” and “I Need A Woman By My Side.”

Julien Believe

He is a singer, songwriter and producer. He fuses together genres like Soca, R&B and “Junkaroo Pop.” He has been called The Music Ambassador of The Bahamas. His hits include “Caribbean Slide,” “Rolling It” and “Jump & Wine.”
