Experience Fairfax, Virginia’s, most exciting pop culture event. Fairfax Comic Con is coming to the Dulles Expo Center on August 26 and 27, 2023.

Comic Con Hours

  • Saturday – 10 am to 5 pm
  • Sunday – 11 am to 4 pm

This event is returning with two days full of more Special Guests, creators, artists and vendors. And kids 10 and under will get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Cosplay Contest

On Saturday, there will be a Cosplay Contest with Judging and Main Stage. At 5:15 pm, there will be a Cosplay Dance Off. At 5:30 pm, the Cosplay winners will be announced.

The categories are

  • Best Adult Cosplay, ages 16 and up
  • Best Group Cosplay with 3 or more members
  • Best Kids Cosplay, ages 15 and under

BC Photography will award the winners from all 3 categories a mini Cosplay shoot.

Other prizes include

Best Adult Cosplay

  • First Place Trophy and $100 cash prize
  • Second Place Trophy and $50 cash prize

Best Kids Cosplay

  • First Place Trophy and $100 cash prize
  • Second Place Trophy and $50 cash prize

Best Group Cosplay

  • First Place Trophy and $100 cash prize

  • 2 pm – Drawing Sketch Cards For Freelance Artists
