Located in the picturesque hills of North Georgia, the North Georgia Wildlife & Safari Park is home to over 400 animals from 80 different species. If you like animals, you’re going to love this park!
The park’s mission is to connect people with animals. They believe in the three Cs: Care, Connect and Conserve.
You can go on a safari and see animals from the comfort of your own car. View some of the most interesting animals on the planet. See Camels, Zebras, Warthogs, Ostriches and more in naturalistic habitats. You’ll be in your car and they’ll be roaming free. In Llama Lane, you can drive right into the Llama habitat.
Allow thirty to sixty minutes for your drive-through safari. You must remain in your vehicle at all times.

The animal experiences are one of a kind event and create memories that will last a lifetime.
The park has a Small Animal Experience in which you can meet and greet some of the smallest animals. This 15 minute experience has you interacting with armadillos, sugar gliders, reptiles, hedgehogs and chinchillas.
The Deer Experience has you getting up close and personal with Fallow Deer. You can go into the Deer habitat and enjoy feeding the deer and hands on time with them.
The Camel Experience allows you to meet the camels. Pet and hand feed these majestic animals.

The park has a concession stand where you can purchase soft drinks, popcorn, chips and candy.
Towns within 20 miles of Cleveland, Georgia, include Mount Airy, Dahlonega, Helen, Baldwin, Demorest, Hiawassee, Cornelia, Blairsville, Lula, Clarkesville and Alto. Cleveland is 69 miles north of Atlanta.
