Your presence is requested at a delightful opening night wine and food fete. It’s being held at the beautiful Virginia Museum of History and Culture in Richmond, Virginia on February 25. 2023. This celebration of sparkling wines and champagnes is presented by Foley Family Wines.
This will be an extraordinary tasting experience. The fete will feature an elite lineup of sparkling wine from Virginia, Argentina, Napa Valley, Spain and Champagne, France. There will be frizzy ciders from Virginia. Highly regarded still wines from Virginia, Napa Valley and Argentina will also be available for tasting.
The fete will feature a special “Legends” pavilion that has Virginia’s Thibaut Janisson, Napa Valley’s Domaino Carneros, France’s Dom Perignon and Mumm and many more legendary champagnes.
While food is included in your ticket, it is recommended that you consume a light meal before you come. Delectable and seasonally, locally sourced Virginia and Napa Valley inspired bites will be provided to enhance your tasting experience. You can try pairing the food with some of the bubbly and still wines you’re tasting.
You’ll receive a beautiful crystal wine glass that you can use for tasting and then keep. This is a premiere wine tasting experience. You’ll have unlimited samples of more than 40 sparkling wines, champagnes and still wines. Doors will open at 6:45 pm.
Expand your palate and your knowledge of wine and champagne. Every pourer knows all about the champagne or wine they are pouring and they can answer any questions you might have.
You must be at least 21 years of age in order to attend. Free parking is available in the Virginia Museum of History & Culture parking lot on a first come, first served basis. Once the parking lot is filled, you will need to find parking in the street nearby which will be free. The dress code is smart casual.
