They can’t roll back the years for you, but Arlington Theater ‘N’ Drafthouse in Arlington, Virginia, can provide the cereal, the cartoons and a whole lot of fun!
Spoons, Toons & Booze
Spoons, Toons & Booze is held on Saturday and Sunday mornings beginning at noon. They show all your favorite Saturday morning cartoons. They also have an All You Can Eat Cereal Bar and feature brunch cocktails.
The Arlington Cinema has over 100 different cartoon series going as far back as the 1940s and up to the early 2000s. There will be contests on the stage and the winners will get to choose what cartoon you’ll get to watch. There are also retro carton and cereal themed prizes. If you’re lucky, you could win tickets to the Arlington Cinema ‘N’ Drafthouse.
The free All You Can Eat Cereal Bar has all the sugary, marshmallowy, chocolaty and fruity cereals you love. Regular milk and soy milk will be available.
You can also purchase cereal shots, Drop a shot of Kalua or Baileys in your cereal and your eyes will open wide. The Cinema also offers brunch cocktails, like “The Sonny,” a White Russian topped with Cocoa Puffs.
Coming up on Saturday, February 11, 2023, and Sunday, February 12, 2023, Spoons, Toons & Booze will be having a Valentine’s Special. Enjoy a special menu of Valentine’s Day and love themed episodes of all your favorite Saturday morning and week day afternoon cartoon series.
Experience the powerful emotions of your animated friends’ crushes, first dates and relationships. And feel their pain at heartbreaks, breakups and unrequited love. Your hosts at the Valentine’s Special will be SecretFormula’s cartoon and cereal experts Michael Austin and Nell Casey.
The Arlington Cinema ‘N’ Drafthouse is a full restaurant located inside an historic art deco theater, built in 1940. It features comfortable oversized chairs. Each chair has access to a table or counter inside the theater. Eat your cereal and sip a brunch cocktail in comfort while watching cartoons. The Cinema is wheelchair accessible.
