Live Drive-In Concerts In Kings Mountain, North Carolina
Do you miss going to concerts? If you do, you should consider going to a live concert at a drive-in. It’s the safest way to enjoy a live concert experience. No large crowds to try to elbow your way through and no worry of being packed in a crowded auditorium. You can enjoy live entertainment in the safety and comfort of your own car with your family and/or friends.
Hound’s Drive-In in Kings Mountain. North Carolina, opened in 2016 showing first-run movies. In 2020, in keeping with our new reality, Hound’s Drive-In began having live in-person concerts. Recent concerts were held there with JVNH, Nate Bargatze, and Cosmic Charlie.
The Drive-In has three 50 x 100-foot screens. They use the brightest bulbs, – 7,000 watts – to project the picture quality. The audio will be broadcast through an FM stereo frequency. You can listen to this on your car radio or on a portable radio.

12/18/20 – Colt Ford and Jimmie Allen
A one-time professional golfer, Colt Ford is a singer, rapper, and songwriter. His music fuses country music and hip hop. He’s been called a “country rapper.” His album, “Declaration of Independence,” hit the Number One spot on the Top Country Albums chart. His latest album is “We the People.”
Jimmie Allen is a country music singer and songwriter. His “Best Shot” and “Make Me Want To” were both Number One on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

12/19/20 – David Phelps “It Must Be Christmas”
David Phelps is a Christian music singer and songwriter. He is best known as the tenor in the Gaither Vocal Band. He’s released several solo albums, including 4 Christmas albums. His “It Must Be Christmas” concert has King’s Highway as its special guest.

Hounds Drive-In has full-service concession stands offering burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, fries, popcorn, snacks, ice cream, candy bars, sodas, and more.
Cars must park between parking poles and patrons will remain socially distanced in their vehicles. In accordance with North Carolina regulations, you must wear a mask when you leave your vehicle to go to the restroom or concession stand.
