Oktober Lagoonfest at Lago Mar
Have you ever been to a pop-up experience before? Well, if you haven’t, you are in for a treat if your first one is the Oktober Lagoonfest at Lago Mar in Texas City! It is a pop-up experience and lagoon-side festival. It is perhaps unlike any other pop-up experience you have been to because of its location at the largest lagoon in Texas. There are white sand beaches and crystal clear water that make this a truly great experience.
But the Oktober Lagoonfest has even more in store for you. Let’s start with perhaps what may be the major draw for you. And that is the rotating craft beer selection and craft cocktails available for purchase! They go great with the fall-themed street food available from some of Houston’s favorite eateries. Or you could just sip them while relaxing in a beach lounge chair. Because there are private cabanas and beach loungers you can reserve.
And that’s not all. There is open entertainment that the entire family can enjoy. A live DJ provides entertainment, too.
And let’s not forget you’ll be on the water. Kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, and electric jet boarding are all activities you can enjoy during this fall festival. And did I mention that it has the largest inflatable aqua course on a lagoon in the entire country?
This event takes place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through November 1st, 2020. It is located in Texas City on Texas’s gulf coast. It is conveniently located near Houston and Galveston.
COVID-19 Safety
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are safety rules in place. Staff will make sure everyone is social distancing in high traffic areas like lines for food and drinks. Beach & lawn furniture is also spread apart so you can adhere to social distancing regulations. You will have a temperature check and health screen when you arrive. They are not accepting cash to minimize touch. And you will need to wear a face mask when you enter, exit, and in designated areas like the food and beverage lines, bars, and restrooms.
