You don’t have to be in Ireland to enjoy a great St. Patrick’s Day celebration.  In fact, all you have to do is go to Florida!  This year, there are tons of great St. Patty’s Day celebrations all over Florida.  We go over some of our favorites.

1. Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival

Southern Florida’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebration takes place in Fort Lauderdale!  It starts with a parade and then follows with a festival.  You’ll see dancers, hear bagpipes, shop at vendors, enjoy Irish food & drinks, and more.  Find out more in our Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Day Festival Guide.

2. SeaWorld’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

SeaWorld theme park in Orlando, Florida has a great St. Patrick’s Day celebration this weekend.  There’ll be great Irish food and drinks, great Irish music, Irish dancing, and more.  You can find out more in our SeaWorld St. Patrick’s Day Guide.

3. River O’ Green

River O’ Green is a free event at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Tampa.  It gets its name because the Hillsborough River becomes a bright shade of green!

Raglan Road is one of my favorite restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.  It is located in Disney Springs, the entertainment district of Disney World that is (shockingly for Disney) free of charge to visit.  We’ve reviewed the restaurant here.

Since Raglan Road is an Irish restaurant and pub, it is only fitting they’ll have a great St. Patty’s Day celebration.  It takes place from March 13th to March 17th.  Highlights of the festival include award-winning imported Irish bands, performances by the Raglan Road Irish Dancers, and complimentary face painting.  You can read more about the event here.

10. West Palm Beach St. Patrick’s Bar Crawl

Party at top St. Patrick’s Day bars in Downtown West Palm Beach, like Forget Me Not, 335 Clematis Street, and Locals Only Lounge, during the 5th annual St. Patrick’s Bar Crawl.  It takes place Saturday, March 14th, from 8 pm to 11:59 pm.  Last year, over 300 people attended.  A ticket gets you a wristband for free entry in participating venues, green beads, a green LED bracelet, drink specials, and a lot of fun.  You can purchase a ticket here.

The city of Oviedo, Florida along with Guinness present a St. Patrick’s Day Festival this year on March 14th from 4:00 to 9:00 PM.  This St. Patty’s event has something for adults and children.  They’ve made it family-friendly with face painting and stilt-walker balloon artists.  Kids are even encouraged to dress up.

There’s entertainment everyone can enjoy like Irish Step Dancers and live Irish entertainment.  There are also food trucks selling unique Irish cuisine.
