Each year on May 5, people all around the world observe Cinco de Mayo, celebrating Mexican heritage and culture. It commemorates the victory of the Mexican army over the much larger French army in the Battle of Puebla. The victory became a symbol of Mexican resistance to foreign domination.
And it’s getting to be that time of year again when Cinco de Mayo festivities will fill the streets of Santa Monica with good cheer and fun! From street fairs to parties to restaurant specials, the city will be celebrating Mexican culture.

This event is free and open to the public. Valet parking will be complimentary. Reservations are encouraged. Seating will be on a first come, first served basis.
There will be a live mariachi band, dancing and more on their festively decorated terrace.
