Cinco de Mayo en el Barrio is a huge downtown celebration of Mexican. This is happening on Saturday, May 6, 2023. This fiesta will begin at 2 pm and will go until 10 pm.
The fiesta will feature live entertainment throughout the day, including

- DJ Du
- Mariachi Pueblo Viejo
- Masigna
- Ballet Folklorico Tapatio
- Rob The Original
and more. You’ll hear many music genres, including Latin, Mexican, Hip Hop, Country and Mariachi.
There will be delicious Mexican food and drinks. The top Tucson food trucks and food vendors will be there with dishes, snacks and desserts available for purchase. Downtown bars will feature Cinco de Mayo cocktails and cerveza and any will be offering drink specials.
You can see live Ultimate Fighting Championship 288 Sterling vs Cejudo on a gigantic LED screen. You can also see Canelo Alvarez vs John Ryder on the LED screen.
Cinco de Mayo en el Barrio will also feature Tucson’s Best Michelada Contest. You can sample 15 Micheladas.
