I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is Foreigner will be going on tour starting in July. The bad news is it’s their farewell tour.

Foreigner was formed in 1976 in New York City by British guitarist Mick Jones. “…so I want to go out while the band is still at the top of its game,” Jones told Billboard. Current members of Foreigner include Jones, lead vocalist Kelly Hansen, bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboard, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Maldonado.

Foreigner’s hits include

  • “I Want To Know What Love Is”
  • “Juke Box Hero”
  • “Cold As Ice”
  • “Waiting For A Girl Like You”
  • “Double Vision”
  • “Dirty White Boy”
  • “Urgent”
  • “Hot Blooded”
  • “I Don’t Want To Live Without You”
  • “Feels Like The First Time”
  • “Head Games”
  • “Say You Will”
  • “Long, Long Way From Home”

With numerous Top 10 hits and 10 multi-platinum albums, Foreigner is one of the most popular rock acts in the world. Their record sales exceed 80 million and streams of the band’s hits approach 15 million per week.

Foreigner will be joined on tour by Loverboy. This group still has its original lineup of lead vocalist Mike Reno, guitarist Paul Dean, Matt Franette on drums and Doug Johnson on keyboard. Bassist Steve “Spider” Sinnaeve has replaced the late Scott Smith.

Loverboy’s hits include

  • “Working For The Weekend”
  • “Turn Me Loose”
  • “Hot Girls In Love”
  • “Notorious”
  • “This Could Be The Night”
  • “Heaven Is In Your Eyes”
  • “When It’s Over”
