It’s August now and summer is beginning to wind down.  End your summer with a bang at the Summer Country Showdown.  This 2 day country music festival is coming to the University of Idaho’s ICCU Arena in Moscow, Idaho, on August 23 and 24, 2024.  The Summer Country Showdown will showcase two nights of fantastic country music from some of today’s greatest country artists.

Festival Schedule

Day One – Friday, August 23, 2024

  • 6 pm – Doors open

  • 8 pm – Yung Gravy

Day Two – Saturday, August 24, 2024

  • 5 pm – Doors open
  • 6 pm – MacKenzie Carpenter
  • 7:30 pm – Craig Morgan

Performers

Clint Black

Clint Black is a singer, songwriter, musician, actor and record producer.  His debut album in 1989, “Killin’ Time,” produced 4 straight Number 1 hits.  Black has sold over 20 million records and has earned 22 Number 1 single records.  He’s received more than 20 gold and platinum awards in the United States and Canada.  He has also earned numerous CMA, ACM and American Music Awards and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Craig Morgan

Craig Morgan is an Army veteran and a current member of the United States Army Reserve.  He’s an actor and a producer as well as being a country music artist.  He’s amassed more than 15 billion career streams and charted over 25 songs on Billboard.  His greatest hits include “Almost Home,” “This Ole Boy,” “Soldier,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “Bonfire,” “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” “International Harvester” and “The Father, My Son and The Holy Ghost.”

MacKenzie Carpenter

MacKenzie Carpenter is from Hull, Georgia, and began singing in church.  She started her career as a songwriter with “Villain,”  Lily Rose’s 2021 Number 1 hit.  She’s also written “I’m Not Pretty,” “28th of June” and “Indifferent.”  She’s been named to Spotify’s Hot Country 2024 Artists to Watch.

Yung Gravy

Yung Gravy is a rapper, singer, songwriter and actor from Rochester, Minnesota.  In 2016, he uploaded his first track, “Karen,” and attracted a quick online buzz.  His frist EP, “Mr. Clean,” was released later that year.  His fan base is known as “the Gravy Train.”

Taylor Holder

Taylor Holder is an actor, singer, songwriter, TikTok star, YouTuber and social media influencer.  He’s known for “Dirt,” “House of Creators” and “LEAN (Law Enforcement Against Narcotics).”   Up N Country named him as the Male Artist of the Year in 2023.

Additional Event Info

There will be concession areas where you can purchase food and beverages, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic (21+).  There will also be merchandise sales.
