The rodeo is coming to Denver!  The National Western Stock Show is coming to the National Western Complex on January 6 to 21, 2024.

Established in1906, the National Western Stock Show is one of Colorado’s most popular tourist destinations.  It will have one of the country’s largest horse shows and Colorado’s largest western trade show.  We’ll tell you some of the best things to see and then we’ll tell you how you can save money on them.

Stock Show Parade

The National Western Stock Show Kick-off Parade is a sight to behold.  Step back in time to see a real western cattle drive with cowboys, cowgirls, 30 Longhorn cattle, tractors, marching bands and floats.  This will be happening on January 4, 2024, at noon.  It will start at Union Station and 17th Street and will end at 17th and Glenarm Pl.

  • Invitational Ranch Rodeo: Cowboys and cowgirls from different ranches compete against each other in events that are everyday tasks on a ranch.
  • Western Performance Horse Showdown: Freestyle reining and roping cattle.
  • Colorado Fiddle Championship.
  • Bareback Riding.
  • Bull Riding.
  • Bronc Riding.
  • Square Dancing Demonstrations.
  • Round Dancing Demonstrations.
  • Catch-A-Calf Program.
  • Folkloric Dancing.

The National Trade Show is huge.  There are 900 exhibit spaces and over 250 participating exhibitors.  This includes food vendors and merchandise vendors.
