Ready to get up close and personal with things that go bump in the night? Then you head to Distortions Monster World in Denver, Colorado!
Distortions Monster World is a unique event that is currently at the Denver Pavilions on Denver’s 16th Street Mall. It will be there through December 2021. It is presented by the world-renowned “Monster Makers” at Distortions Unlimited as well as the award-winning production team at Blazen Illuminations.
What they have created is truly unique. It is an interactive experience where you see art and monsters combine. It contains a series of movie-style environments and interactive installations. You can see creatures from famous films, TV shows, and music. You also will see creatures from popular haunted attractions. Some of these creatures include life-sized ghouls, giants, and zombies. And apparently, there is life out in space, because aliens are here, too!
This exhibit is a lot of fun. But it is also a great photo opportunity! I mean, how many chances do you get to have a selfie with a zombie or an alien? And if your answer is a lot, well, I have got to know more about your life!
Anyway, despite the scary creatures, Distortions Monster World does pride itself in being a family-friendly attraction. In fact, they even offer free admission to children five years old and younger.
Please note, however, that the exhibit does heavily feature latex materials, so anyone with a latex allergy may want to skip this exhibit. On a more positive note, it is, however, an ADA-accessible immersive experience.
