St. Patrick’s Day is upon us! ‘Tis the season to be partying and Fremont Street in Las Vegas is the perfect place to do exactly that!
Fremont Street’s massive celebration will begin on Thursday, March 16, 2023, and will end on Sunday, March 19, 2023. That works out to 144 hours of free live entertainment and partying. Get shamrocked as the green beer and Irish whiskey flows freely.
The Las Vegas Valley Firefighters will host the St. Paddy’s Fireman’s Parade & Challenge on St. Patrick’s Day at 11:30 am. Uniformed firefighters come to Las Vegas from all over the country to march in this parade. The parade will also feature Celtic dancers, bag pipes and drummers. This will end with fun and games featuring the Firefighters Challenge.
The free live entertainment will be performing on the stages on Fremont Street’s pedestrian malls. Eighteen bands will be featured including
- Whiskey Galore
- Finnegan’s Wake
- Darby O’Gill & The Little People
- The Arcana Kings
There will also be live entertainment in the resorts and casinos on Fremont Street.
Witness the amazing visuals on Viva Vision, the largest video screen in the world. The screen is 1,375 feet long, 90 feet wide and is suspended 90 feet above the pedestrian mall. You can enjoy a variety of St. Patrick’s Day themed light shows during the long holiday weekend. Viva Vision is the largest digital display on the planet and is one of the best things to do in Las Vegas.
Play games of chance in the partner casinos on Fremont Street and you may enjoy the “luck of the Irish.” The bars will have plenty of drink specials, green beer and cocktail specials.
You should consider staying in the Fremont Street hotels. You won’t have to worry about driving and parking which will give you more time for partying!
