Vincent Van Gogh was a brilliant and tortured artist who is now one of the most influential figures in Western art history. This Dutch Post-Impressionist painter created about 2,100 artworks. Experience his brilliant artwork for yourself at the worldwide phenomenon, the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit!
Immersive Van Gogh was originally a blockbuster exhibit enjoyed by over two million people in Paris, France. After that, it headed to Toronto, where it was sold out.
Now, you can experience the biggest Immersive Van Gogh exhibit yet when you visit the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in Los Angeles, California. It takes place at Lighthouse ArtSpace Los Angeles at 6400 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, CA (the former Amoeba Music Building).
This version fills up a 25,000-square-foot exhibit space. Included in the exhibit are 300,000 cubic feet of breathtaking projections animating Van Gogh’s artwork. Famous artwork like Starry Night, Sunflowers, The Bedroom, The Potato Eaters, and more can be seen here.
It was designed by Emmy Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated David Korins. He is best known for his set designs that appeared in popular Broadway shows like “Hamilton” and “Dear Evan Hanson”.
