The Los Angeles County Fair began in 1922 so it has been entertaining guests for 100 years. And this year could be even better than ever! It will be at the Fairplex in Pomona, California from May 3rd, 2024, through May 27th, 2024.
Attractions
They have a lot of great attractions planned for this year’s fair.
Concerts

Plaza de las Americas
Another place to enjoy great live music is Plaza de las Americas, where you’ll enjoy Latin-influenced entertainment on the Plaza Stage. This includes mariachi, cumbia, banda, norteña music, etc.
Ray Cammack Shows
Ray Cammack Shows is back at the LA County Fair for its 36th year. They’ll bring more than 70 carnival rides, 29 games, and kiddie carnival areas. All of the things you think of when you think of a county fair!
Skate-R-Cade
Enjoy simple summer fun the way it was when you were younger. Here you’ll find an arcade with classic games like Pac-Man and pinball plus a skating rink.
The Fairplex Garden Railroad
The Fairplex Garden Railroad is celebrating its 100th birthday! Enjoy 100 years of model trains in this 100th anniversary tribute.
RailGiants Train Museum
RailGiants Train Museum is celebrating its 70th anniversary, and you can find well-preserved locomotives, rail cars, and a caboose here.
Budweiser Clydesdales
The Budweiser Clydesdales will be returning to Farm Road this year! Don’t forget to come and say hi to them!
Car Show
You can see muscle cars, hot rods, low riders, and antique cars on Redwood Street.
Flower & Garden Pavilion
The Flower & Garden Pavilion is a great tribute to the people of Los Angeles County.
Home Arts Building
See the Home Arts and Culinary Competition winners at the Grandstand. You can also find home art demonstrations or you could take a cooking class.
The Farm & Gardens
Celebrate agriculture at The Farm & Gardens. Highlights of this attraction include:

- Future Farmers of America (FFA) Student Competitions
- Kickin’ Country Stage
Millard Sheet Arts Center
The Millard Sheets Art Center will host a Los Angeles County Museum of Art exhibition. It features paintings and sculptures created by Popular Mexican artist Rufino Tamayo.
America’s Great Outdoors
Enjoy a forest setting here. Highlights of this exhibit include:

Heritage Square
Over in Heritage Square, you can shop for handmade arts & crafts from vendors. You’ll also find blacksmithing demonstrations and leather smithing lessons here.
Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show
Daily shows here include a wonderful display of chainsaw-carving skills, axe-chopping, and log rolling.
Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum
Learn about the history of the National Hod Rod Association (NHRA) here, as well as their origin story in Fairplex and Pomona.
AG Fair & Robotics
Enjoy hands-on STEM activities, educational shows, and student and classroom projects from over fifty regional schools.
Thummer’s Neighborhood
Meet the festival’s mascot, Thummer, as well as his friends Lily and Daisy at Thummer’s Neighborhood.
Community Stage
Dance troupes and martial arts studios will be giving performances on the Community Stage.
