Great news: the 41st LA Lotus Festival is almost here! It takes place at Echo Park Lake in Los Angeles, California. It celebrates Asian Pacific cultures with two days of attractions and entertainment in gorgeous Echo Lake Park.
And you have a great opportunity to take part in the Lights of Dreams Lantern Event. You have the opportunity to decorate your own unique lantern. You can launch yours with thousands of other water lanterns at Echo Park Lake.
These illuminated water lanterns are a wonderful symbol of our hope for a brighter future. I think we can all use that right now, don’t you think? The water lanterns also show an appreciation for loved ones and the memories of those we loved who passed away. You see, the white lotuses represent rebirth, life, and purity. Here is the schedule for the event:
- 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM: Registration & lantern decorations
- 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM: LA Lotus Festival & live entertainment
- 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM: Lantern launching ceremony
