Wild West Horseback Adventures
When you think of Las Vegas, Nevada, you may think of shows, gambling, and partying. But a trip to Las Vegas is still a trip to the American West. And if you love the stories of the Wild West, you’ll be happy to know that you can have some great Wild West experiences. And one of those experiences is the Wild West Horseback Adventure.
Wild West Horseback Adventures is located in nearby Paradise, Nevada. They give you horseback riding experiences similar to what cowboys would have had during the days of the Wild West.
Itinerary
You’ll begin the day getting picked up from your hotel. This is included in the price of the experience. You first head to a ranch. You get to enjoy an authentic Western-style meal at the ranch. And while you eat, you get amazing views of the nearby mountains.
The meal you get, though, depends on which tour you pick. If you are on a breakfast tour, you get cowboy potatoes, eggs, pancakes, bacon, or sausage. If you get a dinner tour, you can eat steak or Mesquite-grilled chicken, corn on the cob, baked potato, dinner rolls, and apple pie.
And then you are off to the main attraction: the horseback riding! It’s a 90-minute trail ride. The scenery during your ride of the Moapa Valley is amazing. And you get lots of opportunities to take an ample amount of photos.
Since you are riding a horse, you will need to wear long pants and boots or sensible shoes. What I mean by that is no high heels or open-toed shoes. When it is hot, you should wear a hat and sunglasses. If you are going when it is colder, make sure you wear a long-sleeved shirt or bring a jacket.
