Visiting Hawaii is one of those travel destinations that so many of us long to visit.  The natural beauty and the beaches are so appealing.

But Hawaii is also a place of significant importance in American history.  So if you want to learn about an important historic event, then you should take a Pearl Harbor Tour.

I am going to tell you about a great Pearl Harbor Tour.  And then I will tell you how you can save money by booking this tour at a discounted price.

Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour

The Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour is a great way to understand this tragic event in our country’s history.  This tour is offered by E Noa Tours.

You will be visiting multiple historic sites on this tour.  Your knowledgeable guide will share great knowledge and appreciation for these historic sites.

USS Arizona Memorial & Visitor Center

This tour starts early in the morning.  You’ll visit the Pacific Historic Parks Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.  Here, you learn about the events that happened before, during, and after the tragic event.

After you visit this center, you’ll take a shuttle boat to the USS Arizona Memorial.  This memorial was built over the remains of the sunken battleship USS Arizona.  This ship was bombed on December 7, 1941, otherwise known as “the day that will live in infamy”.  2,400 American sailors, marines, soldiers, and civilians lost their lives that day.  And that is of course the event that brought America into World War II.

You also get a chance here to pause and reflect as you see the ruins of this battleship.

USS Missouri

Next, you get to board the USS Missouri, otherwise known as “Mighty Mo”.  You’ll get to learn about the important history of this historic ship.  It is most famous because it was the site where the Empire of Japan surrendered to the Allies, which ended World War II.

You’ll get to explore the USS Missouri.  You even get to see a signed copy of the surrender.

Downtown Honolulu

After you leave Pearl Harbor, your guide takes you through Downtown Honolulu.  You get to learn about Hawaii’s history and how it went from a monarchy to a territory to eventually America’s fiftieth state.

Waikiki and Ko Olina area hotel transportation is included in the price of this tour.
