Learn about different pride events throughout Los Angles, California during Pride Month in 2022

June is Pride Month, and is a wonderful way to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.  Unfortunately, though, it is over halfway over.  And some Pride Nights and pride events have come and gone, like the L.A. Dodgers’ Pride Night.

But luckily, there are still a lot of great pride events coming up.  So we’re going to tell you all about them!

Los Angeles Sparks Pride Night

The Los Angeles Sparks women’s basketball team will be holding their Pride Night on Wednesday, June 23, 2022, at 7:30 PM.  They’ll be taking on the reigning WNBA champions, the Chicago Sky.  The first 3,000 fans at the game will receive a free pair of Sparks PRIDE sunglasses.  You can buy discounted tickets for the game here.

Pride is Universal at Universal Studios Hollywood

The LA! Pride event at Universal Studios Hollywood is back this year!  It is an after-hours event that takes place Friday, June 24, from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM.  The park is open until 9:00 PM, so that gives you hours of access to the park with fewer crowds!

There are a lot of fun things at this event.  On the Main Stage in Universal Plaza, there will be an LA Pride Drag Party.  It stars RuPaul Drag Race alumni Jasmine Masters, Morgan McMichaels, Scarlet Envy, Delta Work, and Mariah Balenciaga.  This show also features DJ Brynn Taylor.

Speaking of DJs, there will be three DJs throughout the park.  The world-famous Studio Tour runs until 9:30 PM.

  • Flight of the Hippogriff
  • Revenge of the Mummy – The Ride

  • DreamWorks Theatre Featuring Kung Fu Panda
  • Ollivanders

This event is open for all ages, but guests who want cash bar access will need to be 21 years old (ID is required).

Los Angeles Angels Pride Night

The Los Angeles Angels baseball team is holding their Pride Night on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.  That is during their game against the Chicago White Sox at 6:38 PM.

If you book your tickets directly through MLB’s website, you can get tickets as low as $24 and you get a free Pride Night-themed Angels hat.  You can get tickets as low as $11 per ticket (and you can find cheap tickets to other games) if you buy your ticket here.

Cozy Cabaret: A Celebration of Pride

P3 Theatre Company’s Cozy Cabaret Series was created to present a platform for local professional theatre artists to showcase their talents.  It is also a way to bring quality arts into the community.

The Cozy Cabaret Series also serves as a fundraiser.  This helps P3 Theatre Company recover from the financial challenges presented by COVID-19.  It also helps them to continue to pursue its mission and vision to use arts to help make the world a better place.

A Celebration of Pride is part of the Cozy Cabaret series.  It features accompaniment as well as a special appearance by Bill Wolfe.  It takes place on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 7:00 PM at the Aurora Theatre in Long Beach, California.
