June is halfway through, so that means we are halfway through Pride Month.  But luckily in Seattle, Washington, Pride Month is just getting started.  There are plenty of upcoming events that uplift our city (and the world’s) LGBTQ members.

Pride Pops

The Seattle Symphony will be accompanied by the talented Seattle Men’s Chorus in this special weekend concert.  With conductor Lee Mills at the podium, this is sure to be a great event.  And that’s not all: the host for the weekend is NYC-based drag performance artist Thorgy Thor, whom you may recognize from RuPaul’s Drag Race or Dragnificent.

The event takes place at the the S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium at Benaroya Hall in Downtown Seattle.

It takes place on the following times:

  • Friday, June 24, 2022, at 8:00 PM
  • Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 2:00 PM
  • Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 8:00 PM

Seattle Storm Pride Night

The Seattle Storm, Seattle’s popular professional women’s basketball team, will be celebrating Pride Month with a Pride Night.  It takes place on June 25, 2022, when the Storm plays rival WNBA team, the Los Angeles Sparks.  It takes place at the Climate Pledge Arena and tip-off is at 6:00 PM.  You can get tickets here.

Seattle Sounders Pride Match

Seattle Sounders FC will host their pride match against Sporting Kansas City on June 25, 2022, at 12:00 PM.  Ahead of the match, the club will raise the Progress Pride flag at Lumen Field.  It will fly through OL Reign’s Pride Match, which we will talk about later.

Seattle Pride Parade 2022

The Seattle Pride Parade is back!  It takes place on Sunday, June 26, 2022 in Downtown Seattle (starting at 4th Avenue).  More information is coming; you can click here to stay up to date on this event.

Seattle Mariners Pride Night

Celebrate Pride Night with Seattle’s professional baseball team, the Seattle Mariners!  Pride Night with the Seattle Mariners takes place on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at T-Mobile Park.  That is when the Mariners play the Oakland Athletics.

The Mariners aim to support all LGBTQIA+ persons and the fight for equality – while having fun, too!

If you buy your ticket through the MLB website, you can get a limited-edition Pride Mariners-themed Short Sleeve Hoodie included in the cost of your ticket.  But if you want to enjoy Pride Night with a cheaper ticket, click here – just be aware this will not come with the free T-Shirt.

OL Reign Pride Match

Seattle’s professional women’s soccer team, the OL Reign, will hold their annual Pride Match on July 1, 2022, at 7:00 PM, during their match against the North Carolina Courage.  You can get tickets for this event here.
