Winter Park Summer Gondola Rides
On this gondola ride, you’ll sit back and enjoy amazing views of the Continental Divide. It’s a smooth ride up to 10,700 ft. This is a great way to get to the top of the mountain without having to hike or bike up the mountain.
After you’ve reached the top, you’ll get to walk around. You’ll find you’ll get amazing views no matter where you go. Though for perhaps the best views, take a short walk to Venture Out Vista. You can then keep walking down that trail. Or you can take a break at Sunspot Mountaintop Lodge. There, you can purchase refreshing drinks or tasty snacks.
And from now until September 4th, if you come on Fridays and Saturdays between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM, you’ll be there for Mountaintop Happy Hour. Then you can hear live music, drink Colorado craft beer, play lawn games, and more.
Normal operating hours this summer and early fall are as follows:
- June 18, 2022 through September 4, 2022
- Sunday through Thursday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Friday through Saturday 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- September 5th, 2022 through October 2, 2022
- Monday through Sunday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
