The Blue Notes
The Blue Notes was one of the most popular Philadelphia soul groups in the 1970s. Although the original lead singer Harold Melville received top billing, their most famous member was Teddy Pendergrass. Their hits include “The Love I Lost,” “If You Don’t Know Me By Now,” “Bad Luck,” and “Wake Up Everybody.”
The Stylistics
The Stylistics are a legendary R&B and Soul group from Philadelphia. They had ten straight top 10 hits during the early 1970s. Their hits include “You Make Me Feel Brand New” and
Betcha By Golly, Wow.”
Sonny Bivin’s Manhattans
The Manhattans are a Soul/R&B Grammy winning group. They had 20 Top 40 R&B hits. They were most popular between the late 1970s and 1988. Their greatest hits include “Kiss & Say Goodbye” and “I Wanna Be Your Everything.”
