Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo
Have you been to Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo yet this year? If you haven’t, then you really should! Brookfield Zoo at this of year is, well, magical. This is the 38th year of this special event and it’s just as magical as it always has been! There are so many great experiences here that make this Christmas event truly special.
Holiday Lights & Light Displays
The best part of this event has got to be the holiday lights! There are over 1,000,000 LED lights up at the zoo, and they are gorgeous! There is a 600-foot arch illuminated with LED lights. If you want a great photo, check out the 20-Foot Lit Orb at the North Mall.
And there are amazing larger than life light displays! There are great displays that are (naturally) themed to animals:
- Reindeer (found in the East Mall)
- Bear (found in the North Mall)
- Bison & Giraffe (found in the South Mall)
You can also see a holiday light show at The Swamp!
Chicago Wolves Skating Rink
New this winter is the Chicago Wolves Skating Rink! It’s made up of a synthetic material called Glice. It is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m and is located in the East Mall.
Holly Jolly Theater
Holly Jolly Theater is home to great holiday entertainment! Singers, dancers & carolers will stop by to provide entertainment.
