Glow Hartford’s Christmas Carnival is a five week indoor holiday lights festival at the Connecticut Convention Center. Save 25% on a ticket with a coupon.
Glow Hartford Lights
Glow Hartford has lots of holiday lights. In fact, there are million Christmas lights at the event. They make up interactive light gardens & light displays. Since this year’s theme is Christmas Carnival, that means the the light displays are Carnival themed. You’ll see a circus tent, Ferris Wheel, carousel, and more created by Christmas lights.
But there are also holiday-themed displays, too. That means you’ll see a spiral ball tree, a giant ornament ball, a Snowman arch, and a Reindeer-drawn carriage.
There are interactive elements with the lights. For example, you can get on an LED swing and see the colors change. There are hanging picture frames made of lights that make great photo opportunities. There are actually plenty of great photo opportunities here.
In addition to interacting with the lights, you can walk along and see the lights. There is even a Tunnel of Lights you can walk under. Or you can take a free ride on Glen the Glow-comotive, a trackless train, and see the lights that way.
Glow Hartford Photo Opportunities
The fun extends beyond the lights, though. Santa Claus and the elves will be in attendance. And included in the cost of your ticket is a photo with Santa! You can also get pictures with famous Princess characters.
Glow Hartford Activities
There are other fun activities, too. You can take a scavenger hunt through the event. You can get your “carnival ticket” stamped as you go through the event. There’s a fun hopscotch area with glowing spots you can jump on.
