This Christmas season, have a magical time with your family by boarding Santa’s Magical Express. Santa’s Express Extravaganza at Battery Park in Glasgow, Scotland is a Christmastime train adventure. It truly is a neat experience.
First of all, there is the train ride. That in and of itself is special. It’s so beautiful this time of the year. It is an outdoor train ride, too, so you’ll get great photos (though since it is outdoors, please dress accordingly in clothes and footwear that are warm and waterproof).
But there’s more to this experience than just the train ride. You are treated to a mini-show at Santa’s Boat Shed. There, you’ll hear fascinating tales from the North Pole.
You also get a one-on-one Santa Grotto experience! This is a wonderful opportunity to get that perfect picture with Santa.
And if you get hungry or thirsty during your adventure, don’t worry. Hot festive food and holiday treats are available.

Santa’s Magical Express takes place on the following dates:
It is offered multiple times throughout the day so you’ll pick a time slot. The time slots start at 10:00 AM and the last time slot is 4:30 PM.
The entire experience takes about twenty-five minutes. But do arrive at least ten minutes before your allocated time. That way, you can make sure you are able to make your train ride. If you are too late, you may not be able to be switched to another time slot. And then you may have to tell an excited kid they aren’t seeing Santa Claus this year!
Speaking of kids, please note that children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by adults.
There is parking available at the Riverside caar park. You can by coins or RingGo.
