Have you seen ‘Twas the Night Before…by Cirque du Soleil yet this year? If you haven’t, don’t worry. It debuted in Charlotte, North Carolina at Ovens Auditorium a couple of days ago, but it will be in town until January 4, 2025. So there is definitely still time left to go see and the show.
And this is a show that can’t be missed! The show is based on “A Visit from Saint Nicolas” by Clement Clarke Moore, the classic Christmas poem that you may know of as “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” (hence the name of the show).
But this isn’t just a retelling of the poem. In true Cirque du Soleil form, they incorporate lots of different elements into their storytelling, such as jaw-dropping acroabtics, aerialists, roller skating, and daredevil tricks. There is also a soundtrack featuring reinvented holiday favorites!
This show is great fun for the whole family. It makes a fun holiday outing for anyone living in or visiting the Charlotte area this Christmas season.
