Vancouver Capilano Canyon Lights
Are you looking for a wonderful way to spend the Christmas season this year in Vancouver, British Columbia?
Then you have to see the Canyon Lights! It is truly one of the best holiday light displays in the world.
It is a family tradition around Vancouver, and this year will be no different. Canyon Lights starts on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. It runs until Sunday, January 3, 2021, but is closed on Christmas.
And the lights are amazing. There are millions of twinkling lights on the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge. The 250-year-old Douglas-firs at Treetops Adventure are actually lit up from top to bottom. This makes them the 8 tallest Christmas trees in the world! You can also see Cliffwalk’s “Arc de Lumina”. It features 40 loops wrapped around the boardwalk and more than 4,000 lights. This creates a light tunnel that is just amazing! You can also see the lights in the river below and the rainforest.
The lights walk around Blue Grouse Lake is breathtaking. Seeing all these beautiful lights with the backdrop of the Grouse Mountains is a wonderful sight you won’t want to miss. It can truly be the highlight of your holiday season.
But the experience is more than just lights. There are also children’s activities and seasonal live music. You can even take part in a Snowy Owl Prowl scavenger hunt!
