My family loves visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, during the Christmas season. So I am not surprised you, too, are looking to visit Disney World during the most magical time of the year. There are so many festivities going on throughout the resort. We talk about them in our Disney World at Christmas guide.
So you know you want to go to Disney World during the holiday season. But the question is, wheres should you stay? Might I suggest staying at Disney’s All Star Movies Resort? There are many reasons why a stay at All Star Movies Resort makes a lot of sense:
- Affordable: The All Star Movies Resort is one of the most affordable Disney World hotels (and you can find out how to stay here even cheaper with our All Star Movies booking hacks).
- Onsite Disney World Hotel Benefits: So while All Star Movies is affordable, it is still an on-site Disney hotel. That means you get all the benefits of staying on-site. That includes early entry to the parks, which you’ll appreciate if you want shorter lines for, say, the Jingle Cruise at Magic Kingdom. That also means you get to use Disney buses, which you’ll appreciate when you are leaving late at night from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Jollywood Nights.
- Christmas Decorations: I really love the Christmas decorations at All Star Movies. The Christmas tree is decorated perfectly for a movie-themed hotel. I love the wreaths, too.
- Christmas Music: If you’re having a meal at the All Star Movies food court, keep an ear out for the music played. The last time I was there during the holiday season, we heard a song or two from a Christmas movie, which I think is perfect for the season and for the theming of the hotel.
- All Star Movies Theming: The All Star Movies theming is fun throughout the year. So that means it is fun during the holiday season, too!
And speaking of the fun theming, you can see it in our virtual tour:
