Have you ever wanted to attend a Disneyland pride day?

How about a special Disneyland After Dark event that focuses on the LGBTQIA+ community and allies?

Disneyland After Dark events are one of many after hours events held at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. These are special ticket events, which means they are not included in regular theme park admission. The benefit of this is that you can expected smaller crowds than you would during the day.

We’ve previously discussed other Disneyland After Dark events, such as Star Wars Nite and Disney Channel Nite. And today, we’ll go over what to expect at Pride Nite!

When is Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite?

This year, you have a couple of different options for when to attend Disney Pride Night. That’s because Pride Nite takes place at Disneyland on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 and Thursday, June 20, 2024.

What time does Pride Night start at Disneyland?

Pride Nite officially starts at 9:00 PM and lasts until 1:00 AM. However, if you have a ticket for Pride Nite, then you can actually enter Disneyland as early as 6:00 PM, even if you don’t have a Disneyland ticket for that day! (If you’d like to spend the whole day at Disneyland, you’ll need park admission.)

What does Pride Night include at Disneyland?

From fireworks to dancing to character experiences, there’s a lot to do at Disney Pride Night!

The evening starts off with a special fireworks show: Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite Fireworks – WELCOME!

With the Welcome Pride Cavalcade, some of your favorite Disney characters – in special multicolor attire – will dance through Disneyland Park. This includes Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Clarabelle, Pluto, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck!

You can also meet Disney Characters throughout Disneyland.

You can party at the Ohana Dance Party with a DJ in Tomorrowland (where Stitch will make an appearance!) or the Pride Nite Dance Club at the Rivers of America.

And Country Line Dancing at The Golden Horseshoe gives you yet another opportunity to dance!

Throughout the park, you’ll find rainbow projections and Disney inspired photo backdrops, which make for excellent photo opportunities.

Finally, don’t forget to take a picture of Mickey Mouse and friends on the steps of the Disneyland Railroad Train Station as they wish you a fond farewell at the end of the night.

Will there be any special food or drink options for Disneyland Pride Night?

Yes, you can enjoy specialty treats and snacks at Disneyland Pride Nite! This includes:

  • River Belle Terrace:
    • Key Lime Pudding
    • Red Berry Sangria
  • The Tropical Hideaway:
    • 5 Spice Popcorn Chicken
  • Stage Door Café:
    • Funnel Cake with Cereal Milk
    • Multi-Colored Marshmallow Cereal Topping
  • Hungry Bear Restaurant:
    • Firecracker Loaded Fries

You’ll also find special menu items at Cafe Orleans (reservations are recommended).

Plus, you can get a dining package at Plaza Inn that includes reserved viewing for both the fireworks and cavalcade! Advanced dining reservations are also recommended for this package.

Will Disneyland rides be open during Pride Night?

Yes, you can ride select Disneyland attractions during Disneyland Pride Nite! And because this is a special event, there are usually shorter wait times.

However, please note that only select attractions and experiences will be open during the event. So if there’s a ride you really don’t want to miss, we suggest you ride it sometime between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. (Remember, this is the time between when you can enter the park and when the Disneyland After Dark hours officially begin.) And your best bet is to ride it closer to 6:00 PM rather than later, to make sure you don’t miss out.

Are there Disneyland Pride Nite souvenirs?

Included in your Pride Nite ticket are special keepsakes; specifically, a guide map and a commemorative credential. And if you’re looking for digital souvenirs, you’ll be happy to know that your ticket also includes unlimited downloads of the Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the Disneyland pride event.

What about Disney Pride merch?

Interested in Disneyland pride merch?

Consider getting some Disney pride ears or a Disney pride shirt to wear to the event.

As for more Disney pride merchandise, we recommend these Disney pride plush items as well as checking the Disney Store’s Pride Collection.

How do I purchase tickets for Disneyland Pride Night?

Disneyland Pride Nite tickets are available for Magic Key holders on April 9 and for the general public on April 11. As we mentioned earlier, Disneyland special ticket events only have a limited number of tickets available, so you’ll want to get your tickets sooner rather than later.

Tickets cost $159 per guest for anyone three years old and up. Children younger than three years old do not need a ticket. You can purchase Pride Nite tickets here.

Please note that your ticket does not include free parking.

Are there any discounts available for Disneyland Pride Night tickets?

Unfortunately, there are no discounts for Disney Pride Nite tickets.

If you’ll also be visiting Disney California Adventure Park or Disneyland Park during the day, however, you can get discounted Disneyland Resort tickets here.

Where should I stay on Disneyland Pride Nite?

If you’re traveling from out of town and want to know where to stay on Pride Night, we recommend staying at Disney’s Grand Californian hotel or the Disneyland Hotel. Both of these are excellent places to stay and are within walking distance of Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney.

These Disney hotels can be very expensive. Therefore, you’ll want to check out these 5 ways to save money at Disney Grand Californian and 5 ways to save money at the Disneyland Hotel.

Otherwise, consider staying at a hotel near Disneyland with an indoor pool or a Disneyland area hotel with a water park onsite. That way, you’ll still be close to the theme parks, and you’ll also have a great way to cool off during the day.
