Best Halloween treats coming to the Walt Disney World Resort hotels in Orlando, Florida

One of the fun things about visiting Walt Disney World during the Halloween season is getting to enjoy specialty treats. Here at Green Vacation Deals, we’ve already discussed the special Halloween food items available at the Magic Kingdom.

Well, today we’re going to talk about the treats and sweets you can get at the different Disney World resort hotels! All of these are available throughout the month of October unless otherwise specified. See which delicious snacks you want to try on your next Disney vacation this fall!

Magic Kingdom Hotels

Every Magic Kingdom hotel has special transportation to the Magic Kingdom theme park, by monorail or by boat.

Contemporary Resort

Contempo Café

  • Madame Leota Dark Chocolate Cake – You’ll find dark chocolate ganache inside this Devil’s Food mini cake. And on top, there’s marshmallow webs and chocolate glaze.

Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Gasparilla Island Grill

  • Bewitching Minnie Mousse Cupcake – This Cookies ‘n cream-filled chocolate cupcake, dressed up with ganache, is beautifully themed to Minnie Mouse as a witch.
  • Black Flame Candle – It may resemble the black flame candle from Hocus Pocus, but this treat is actually a candy corn-colored vanilla sponge cake, with white chocolate ganache and caramel buttercream.
  • Hocus Pocus ‘Amuck’ Cakes – These chocolate Devil’s Food cupcakes are full of peanut “boo”tter mousse.
  • Jack O ’Lantern Mickey Cake Pop – This is a large pumpkin-spiced yellow cake pop, surrounded by orange-colored white chocolate. And of course it’s designed to look just like a Mickey jack-o-lantern!

Polynesian Village Resort

Kona Island and Capt. Cook’s

  • Tamatoa – This chocolate chiffon cake, themed to the giant crab in Moana, includes Hawaiian Chantilly filling and (of course!) shiny sprinkles.

Pineapple Lanai

  • Not-So-Scary Pumpkin Soft-serve – The dessert consists of pumpkin spice flavored soft-serve and coconut haupia with graham cracker crumbs, a white chocolate Mickey-shaped pumpkin, and caramel drizzle.

Wilderness Lodge

Geyser Point Bar & Grill

  • Halloween Drink Flight – This drink flight includes all 4 holiday drinks.
    • Around the Pumpkin Patch – Tequila, lime juice, pumpkin spice, and sour mix
    • Black Magic Margarita – Tequila, grenadine, green apple syrup, blue Curaçao beverage syrup, and sour mix
    • Blood Orange – Tequila, simple syrup, and blood orange with lime juice
    • Poison Apple – Tequila, lime juice, green apple syrup, and sour mix

Roaring Fork

  • Haunted Forest Apple Mousse – This fancy treat contains not-so-poisoned sour apple mousse with dark chocolate tree branches, and green cake with cookies n’ cream mousse.

Epcot Hotels

Each hotel in this category is just a boat ride (or walk) away from EPCOT theme park (as well as from Hollywood Studios).

  • Butter Pecan Pumpkin Shake – This non-alcoholic shake is made of butter pecan ice cream. It includes caramel, pumpkin flavoring and chocolate sauces with a vanilla cupcake made to look like a Mickey pumpkin and sprinkle décor.

  • Mummy Cookies ‘n Scream Trifle – This spooky trifle consists of delicious layers of whipped cream, chocolate cake, and chocolate cookies n’ cream mousse.
  • Poison Apple Trifle – With this trifle, you’ll get layers of caramel mousse, apple mousse, caramel crunch, and vanilla cake with fondant décor and buttercream.
  • Mickey Pumpkin Spice Sugar Cookie – Royal icing decorates this pumpkin spice sugar cookie.

Disney’s BoardWalk

  • Boo Brownie – This is a cute, Mickey-shaped brownie with ganache and whipped cream ghosts on top.
  • Creepy Cupcake – This fancy vanilla cupcake includes chocolate cookies crumbs, blood orange curd filling, sugar pumpkins, and vanilla mascarpone cream.

Skyliner Hotels

All of these hotels have a Disney Skyliner station. You can use the skyliner to take a gondola to Epcot or Hollywood Studio theme park.

  • My (Plant-Based) Boo – This plant-based chocolate cupcake features a ghostly swirl of sprinkles and vanilla buttercream on top. The dish is gluten/wheat friendly.
  • Spellbound Chicken Adobo Nachos – Enjoy blue corn tortilla chips with black beans, roasted corn, chicken adobo, toasted pumpkin seeds, and a savory pumpkin cheese sauce with a ghostly pepper salsa and lime crema.
  • The Whoopie Monster – This spiced apple whoopie pie includes caramel and marshmallow buttercream.

  • Tombstone Sweet – A dessert consisting of caramel mousse, coffee dark chocolate mousse, caramel milk chocolate mousse, a salted milk chocolate ganache, and chocolate cake.

  • Pumpkin Spice Beignets – As if beignets shaped like Mickey’s weren’t special or delicious enough, these are dusted not only with powdered sugar but also pumpkin spice! Please note that these beignets are available through November 27.

All Star Hotels

The three All Star Hotels have identical specialty food offerings in October. You can find them specifically in these locations:

  • World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
  • Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
  • End Zone Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort

And the Halloween treats at the All Star food courts are as follows:

  • Mickey Pumpkin Cheesecake – This dessert consists of spiced chocolate cake and pumpkin cheesecake. It also comes with chocolate décor and buttercream.

Visiting Disney World in October

In order to enjoy most of these creative treats, you’ll need to be in Walt Disney World during the month of October.
