Have you seen the brand new Mickey’s Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks show at Disney World?
This new fireworks show premiered this August at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom, replacing HalloWishes. While we at Green Vacation Deals love both, we are so excited by the new Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party fireworks show! You can see why here:
Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular combines favorite characters from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (Jack Skellington and his ghost-dog Zero) with the classic Disney characters Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy.
Jack, the narrator of the fireworks show, tells a tale of Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy going trick-or-treating and coming across a spooky (well, not so spooky!) haunted house.
This fireworks show includes a fun, upbeat Trick or Treat song as well as some familiar Disney tunes. The catchy soundtrack as well as some impressive projections on Cinderella Castle help tell the tale.
You might not necessarily think of dancing as a big part of a fireworks show, but it’s there – in the form of dancing skeletons and ghosts (naturally).
And the fireworks? Well, spectacular is quite the accurate word to describe them!
Because the fireworks really are impressive, you can enjoy the show from many viewing spots in the park. However, to get the full effect, standing in front of Cinderella Castle or on Main Street is best.
To do this, however, you’ll need tickets to the Halloween party, which is a special ticketed event on select evenings in the fall. For more information on the party as well as how to save money on discount tickets, please see our Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Guide.
