Visiting Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has become an annual tradition for my family. This is an after-hours party held at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. It is a separate ticket item from regular Disney World admission. But it is absolutely worth the price, which we outlined here. And the main reason for me why I think it’s worth the cost is because of the Christmas parade!
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is absolutely the highlight for me. You can see it for yourself in the video before:
There are a lot of characters that you relate to Christmas and the winter holidays that appear in the parade. This includes gingerbread men, elves, reindeer, and of course, Santa himself at the end of the parade!
But this is a Disney parade. And we’d be disappointed if it didn’t include Disney characters, right? Well, luckily, this parade does not disappoint! It includes classic characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Chip, Dale, Clarabelle, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Goofy. And then it also includes characters from popular Disney movies:
- Toy Story
- Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs
- Beauty & The Beast
- Sleeping Beauty
- Peter Pan
- The Little Mermaid
- The Princess & The Frog
There were new additions from the parade from last year’s parade. My favorite was the addition of Forky from Toy Story 4 to the Toy Story float!
Speaking of floats, the floats are really well done. So was the dancing, performing, and the music.
This really is a fun event. You can see for yourself in the video. And you can see if for yourself live if you buy a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. You can do it at a significant discount by clicking here.
