Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been fascinated by dinosaurs. I’ve also always loved Halloween. So I am really glad someone decided to combine the two for the ultimate Halloween crossover event!
See, Seasonal Encounters in Denton, Texas loves to put on great seasonal events throughout this year. And this year is a combination of sorts. It’s a Halloween festival, but it is also a dinosaur exhibit.
So you’ll get to see animatronic dinosaurs throughout the exhibit. Animatronic dinosaurs are great because they can move and look like real dinosaurs. There’s an archeological dig and a gem dig. And you could even ride a dinosaur in this experience!
But there are a lot of great Halloween festivities at this Great Pumpkin Adventure. There are Halloween-themed games. You can walk through the haunted forest. There’s also a haunted barn. You can even take home a pumpkin which you can use for a jack-o-lantern (or maybe for cooking!).
But that’s not all! You can create a test tube creature of your very own to take home. They also have an interactive VR game you can play.
A great thing about this event is there is something for all ages. You have the spooky events for older ones but there are activities for little kids, too. So it is something the whole family can enjoy together.
And it’s in a great location! It’s at the Golden Triangle Mall in Denton. This premier North Texas shopping destination has a lot of great stores, so you can go shopping while you’re there at stores like Victoria’s Secret, Lids, Hot Topic, Forever 21, etc. You could even get your partner or your parent to take your kids to the event while you go shopping!
The event runs on select days through Halloween.
