Las Vegas enjoys celebrating cultural diversity.  The Venetian Resort creates a display in the Waterfall Atrium.  In honor of Lunar New Year there is a 2,000 pound golden rodent as 2020 is the Year of the Rat.  It stands 16 feet tall and is surrounded by tangerine trees, chrysanthemums, orchids, succulents and bromeliads.  Smaller rodents are positioned throughout The Venetian and The Palazzo in honor of the Lunar New Year.

At noon on January 25, 2020, there will be a ceremonial dragon and lion dance, complete with firecrackers and eye painting ceremony.  It will feature a parade of dancers and musicians in elaborate costumes playing music. They will start at The Venetian Porte Cochere, make their way through The Venetian lobby and casino into the Palazzo Waterfall Atrium.  Then it will go through The Palazzo lobby and casino and end at the upper Palazzo Porte Cochere.
